Governor Greg Abbott today issued an Executive Order (GA-34) lifting the mask mandate in Texas and increasing capacity of all businesses and facilities in the state to 100 percent.
“The state of Texas is strong; our people, resilient. As we have seen during past natural disasters, when neighbors help neighbors, our resilience is redoubled. As we open Texas, we are each called upon to be Texans: to act responsibly and safely as we re-engage the economy, to continue following all health precautions, and to care for our most vulnerable neighbors. Lives depend on our actions. I know you will respond as Texans.”

As the global effect of coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we’ve updated our protocols. The Village Home family of businesses is firmly committed to the health and safety of our members and employees and serving our communities. Effective July 1st, 2020, we are taking the temperature of every employee, daily, to ensure your safety and recording those for contact tracing. Also, to comply with many area county guidelines, every employee will be wearing a face mask. We have a face mask if you need one. We are closely monitoring the changing situation and complying with public health guidance on an on-going basis.
We have sanitizing stations in the office and at each sales person’s desk. Sales people will be wiping down their desk and doorknobs before and after every appointment to keep you and your family safe.
While the circumstances continue to change, we will modify our operations, as necessary. We thank you for your patience and cooperation. Be assured we are committed to taking care of our customers and employees and to our mission of providing quality homes a price you can afford.
We extend our sincere thanks to our customers and employees for their ongoing support and loyal dedication during this challenging time.
We just breathed a sigh of relief, thanks to the NEW CDC Guidelines on sanitizing.
“For those of you still wiping down groceries and other packages amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, breathe a sigh of relief: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now say that the novel virus ‘does not spread easily’ from touching contaminated surfaces or objects.”
